WEATHER UPDATES (Listed Newest to Oldest) Week of Jan 11 - Some 20-30" of snow on the ground. County highways are good but smaller roads are snow and ice covered. Cars driving on the lake as of this weekend. Dec 14 - Another inch of snow falls but County roads are good. Very cold temps coming. Dec 12 - Lake is completely iced over BUT ice is THIN. Dec 9 - Big storm dumps 12-15 inches at lake area. Dec 7 - Light snow does not even cover the grass area. Dec 4 - Ice out along shore about 20-30 feet. Dec 2 - Ice starting to appear along the shore. "High Priority" Volunteers Needed! 1) Saturday AM at the boat landing to complete Clean Boats/Clean Waters checklists. 2) Ongoing water quality testing with Mike Backus. 3) Raising weevils to help control the Eurasian Watermilfoil. 4) Talking to three private licensed fish hatcheries regarding fees to stock the lake.
